Greetings! Please join me in an exploration of meditation using art as the medium. This half-day webinar will be a continuation of my course offered in May, Meditation Through Art. Guided art meditations will be offered based on the text “Unfolding Through Art” written by Namgyal Rinpoche, with whom I studied in 1998 and 2003. The visual mediations in this profound and amazing book will be presented as a meditative path towards gaining greater awareness.
The theme of the webinar will be Exploring the Senses, a path towards true stability
-During the seminar, we will create Mandala paintings that explore objects through the 5 senses.
We will also create a Mandala of the 4 (Jungian) functions: emotion, sensing, thinking, and intuitive functions.
-first we will create a meditative art space;
– we will create art Mandalas during the webinar time;
-Review the meditative process; and share our art and insights.
The course is open to all, regardless of experience with meditation or art.

Rather than a set fee for the course, I invite you to give an amount that feels right to you. This is Dana, a Buddhist term that means generosity, or “donation from the heart”. In the same way, a portion of the proceeds will be given to support Clear Sky Meditation and Study Center‘s new meditation hall. If Dana is new to you, a suggested range is 30-60 USD.
Any questions? Please feel free to email me.
